Aside from the invite we’ve shared with you days ago, Honor took into their Weibo account another invitation for a new smartphone set to be unveiled on December 21. Shown in the poster is that the Honor 9 Youth Edition will be released next week.
Specifications of the Honor 9 Youth Edition was already spotted in TENAA listing. The handset will sport a 5.65-inch display (18:9 aspect ratio) with 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution powered by a Kirin 659 SoC. It will also have a 3GB/32GB ROM and 4GB/64GB ROM variants. Other specs include a dual front and rear 13MP+20MP cameras with a 2,900mAh battery.
The Honor 9 Youth Edition base model is expected to cost CNY 1,299 ($195) while its 4GB model could cost CNY 1,599 ($240). Stay tuned for updates!
