If you’re looking for a smartwatch this Christmas, you might want to wait for the Honor MagicWatch 2 as it will launch in several markets, including the Philippines, this December 12. The fitness smartwatch from Huawei’s umbrella offers up to 14 days of battery life and advanced swim tracking for a starting price of CNY 1099 (~P7.9K) for the 42mm. The 46mm starts at CNY 1199 (~P8.6K) while the Flax Brown version costs CNY 1399 (~P10K).
Honor MagicWatch 2 Launched Globally
The MagicWatch 2 is made of stainless steel featuring a rounded design for the AMOLED display. The display sizes are 1.39″ and 1.2″ for the 46mm and 42mm, respectively. That said, the bigger sibling is expected to provide up to two weeks of battery life with everything turned on. While the other model can deliver up to 7 days of battery life. Tracking-wise, both are capable of providing 15 fitness modes with advanced swim tracking. Speaking of, you can also track your sleep, calories, and heart rate among others. There are built-in GPS and 5 ATM water-resistance of up to 50 meters.
Spec-wise, Honor’s latest smartwatch is powered by Kirin A1 chipset that’s found on the Huawei Watch GT 2. A total of 4GB storage is present but 2GB of it is reserved for storing music. And yes, you can answer calls via Bluetooth connection.
