HTC debuted its first flagship phone under the U series last May 2017. For this year, the company is expected to release another U series flagship smartphone that will be called the U12. A leaked image of the upcoming U12 has surfaced and the design was revealed.

The leaked render shows that it will come with 18:9 aspect ratio display just like the U11 and U11+. It can be seen from the photo that the screen will be surrounded by thin bezels and there’s a selfie camera located on the top. The volume buttons and the power button are located on the right edge of the phone. It also seems to support USB type C.
There are rumors that the HTC U12 would be equipped with a 4K display. In addition, the new U series smartphone is rumored to feature a metal and glass combination chassis. Also, it will be powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset, it will also sport a dual rear camera.
Though, put in mind that these are just rumors. No confirmation from the company has been released yet.
