The alleged Huawei Mate X was spotted on TENAA on March 5, 2018 with the model number NEO-AL00. It was reported that the new flagship phone might contain the Kirin 970 along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.

Based on the new update on TENAA’s listing, the information that the handset will contain 32GB of storage was deemed false. However, the Huawei Mate X may still feature the Kirin 970. In the latest update, the RAM and ROM of the device has been revealed. According to TENAA, the Mate X will sport 6GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. As of now, the largest storage model seen in a phone is 256GB. This means that having 512GB of storage might soon be possible and if Huawei pulls it off, they might be the first company to produce a smartphone with the new storage model.

Presently, no further information on the handset’s other specs and price has been announced.
