Recently, Huawei has announced the Kirin 980 chipset, Mate 20 Lite and Huawei P20 Pro and P20 Pro’s new color variants. It seems that the company is not yet done in surprising people as they also revealed the newest version of EMUI based on Android Pie.

It comes with a new set of interesting features such as the GPU Turbo 2.0, password vault, HiVision as the travel assistant, and an even quicker start-up time for apps. There’s also a feature that developed by Digital Wellbeing that says how long you’ve been on your smartphone and to prevent too much screen-time, Huawei provided an option to limit yourself. This new operating system will deliver a 12.9% increase in smartphone’s performance.
“EMUI 9.0 is born from a commitment to creating an enjoyable, consistent, and simple experience,” Chenglu said.
The EMUI 9.0 registration is open to selected compatible devices in Europe as it is still in Beta and will be supporting the latest Huawei devices. The Mate 20 which was just announced will also be having an additional OS features of the EMUI 9.0
