SM Prime Holdings and Ikea agreed on a lease as the store will be built within the SM MOA’s area in Pasay City. The first store in the country is estimated to cost around P7 billion pesos once completed in 2020.
For starters, Ikea sells thousands of retail items focusing on ready to assemble furnitures, appliances, home accessories, and many more. It is a direct competition to the likes of Home Depot, Robinson’s Retails, and others, locally.
