Lenovo is far from pulling its punches when it comes to their mobile division. Today, Lenovo Philippines has officially launched a duo of their own featuring dual cameras – the K8 Note and K8 Plus.
While seemingly similar on the outside, they are equipped differently on the inside.

K8 Note – The Faster of the Two
The faster K8 Note runs on an Helio X23 SoC with a 10-core CPU and 4 T880’s clocked at 780MHz for graphics processing. Accompanying it are 4GBs of RAM with a 64GB internal storage, with an expansion of up to 128GBs more via a microSD.
Rear cameras are a combination of a 13MP and 5MP cameras that allow for an enhanced depth of field, allowing for bokeh shots. And on the front is a 13MP camera paired with a full-light LED flash for those night selfies.
K8 Plus – The Smaller Brother
The more budget-oriented K8 Plus is powered by an Helio P25, with the same RAM but a smaller internal storage, checking in at 32GB. This is Lenovo’s cheapest dual-camera smartphone so to speak, and they have a very agreeable reason to do so. It is because that they have outfitted the K8 Plus with a 13MP Purecel Plus sensor for more detailed shots that can be used in a Professional mode with a wide aperture range. The front camera is an 8MP shooter with the same LED flash as the K8 Note has.
What’s similar between the two are their FHD 16:9 displays albeit at different sizes with the K8 Note’s being bigger by ~6% more. Both are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass in a 2.5D format, making them scratch-resistant. Other than the display, they both are powered by beefy 4000mAh battery packs for more than a day’s worth of usage.
Other than the dual camera setup, another notable feature would be the customizable Music Key. We haven’t tested yet the limits of its customizability, so stay tuned for our full review for that.
Both devices do run at near-stock Nougat ROMs, and are going to be one of the first ones to have an update to Oreo once localized.
Regarding availability, both would be exclusively available at Lazada starting on November 9 until December 12. Shipping out at Fine Gold, the K8 Note will be available for PhP 8,999 and the exclusively Venom Black K8 Plus would sell for PhP 7,999.
