What’s the difference?
Display: Unsurprisingly, the top tier K8 Note sports a 5.5 inch Full HD display. On the other hand, the K8 Plus follows with a 5.2inch Full display as the K8 only offers a 5.2inch 720p display.
Processor: The K8 Note obviously takes the lead with its MediaTek Helio X23 deca-core processor. While the K8 Plus has an Helio P25 Octa-core processor on board, the K8 is jet packed with MediaTek Helio P20 inside.
Memory: There are no much of difference between the three in terms of memory since all offer a 4GB RAM variant except the K8. As of now, the K8 Plus only has a 3GB RAM/32GB ROM but the company advised that there would be a 4GB RAM/32GB ROM in the future.
Camera: Both of the K8 Note and K8 Plus offers dual camera setup. The K8 Note has a 13MP+5MP rear camera similar to the K8 Plus. However, the K8 Plus has Purecel Plus sensor features and has a f/2.0 aperture compared to the K8 Note’s f/1.7. There are no confirmations on the K8 but it is just known that it will sport a single lens 13MP rear camera.
Battery: Not that much to expect in difference since all of the three is equipped with 4,000mAh battery juice with TurboCharge technology.
Pricing and Availability
Bottomline is that the price is based on its specs as well. Hence, it’s up to the consumers’ budget nonetheless. The K8 Plus obviously is the most expensive among the three with its price of PHP 11,100 while the K8 Plus comes second with PHP 8,799. There’s no announcement on the K8’s price as of now.
As of now, all of the three K8 series isn’t available in the Philippines. Yet, all of the K8 Note, K8 Plus, and K8 is available in Venom Black and Fine Gold color options. Don’t worry, we’ll keep you updated on its release.
