What’s in the box?
The retail box of Lenovo Vibe Shot comes with USB data cable, a 1.5A power adapter, manuals and SIM/SD card ejector. There is no stereo headset included which is not surprising given most mid-range devices from the Chinese company have excluded the headset in the retail box.

How To: SIM and SD card
Vibe Shot supports microSD and two microSIM cards. The tray for the SD and SIM are separated, unlike from the Vibe X2 which has the same tray for both cards.
To remove the tray, use the provided sim ejector or a flat pointed pin so that you wont damage the tray.
First impressions, Hands-on
Our unit is accented with crimson red frame. Sides are flat while corners are slightly curved. Other options are grey and white.
Lenovo Vibe Shot sports a 5-inch FHD IPS display on front protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The bezel is hard to notice when the phone is off. The only visible mark is the 8MP selfie camera and dotted earpiece grill. Turning on the phone will light up the capacitive touch keys of Lenovo.
The first thing that comes to my mind when I first saw the back design was the digicam design of Sony, particularly their CyberShot TX models. A horizontal metalish grey stip on the left side, about 1/5th of the area of the back, accommodates the Lenovo Vibe logo at the bottom while on top corner the 16MP camera, laser focus assist and tricolor LED flash are placed closely.
The right side is the busiest area with volume rocker, power/lock key, auto-to-pro control switch and dedicated shutter key. Going down you’ll see the microUSB port sandwiched by two speaker grills and antenna bands. Both trays of SD and SIM card are positioned on the left. A 3.5mm audio jack is placed on top with another antenna band and microphone.
Overall feel of Lenovo Vibe Shot is premium. The metal framing and all-glass body feel cold on hands. The edges are sharp but it don’t bother or dig deeply into my palms. For a 5-inch size made of glass and metal, the Vibe Shot is light yet solidly built from bottom to top.
The Lenovo Vibe Shot is now available through online stores in the Philippines for around P15k pesos, the Z90-3 model costs P12.5k.
