Display and Design
The LG G7 ThinQ features a 6.1″ QHD+ display with a resolution of 3120 x 1440. The display of this LG smartphone comes with a notch and has a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Not fan of the notch? No problem with that since LG offers various ways to keep you away from it. Users can choose wether to put a black bar to cover it, or make the color of the bar gradient or even rainbow-themed.
The front and back of the LG G7 ThinQ is made up of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 – making it look and feels premium. The screen brightness can go up to 1,000 nits with its FullVision Super Bright Display.
The power button can be found on the right side of the phone while the volume buttons are on the left. The button below the volume rockers opens the Google Assistant feature. Unfortunately, this button can’t be reprogrammed.
Camera
Going to its cameras, the smartphone features 16MP dual rear cameras with AI features. One rear lens also takes 107 degree wide-angle shots. Additional features of its camera includes Scene recognition and Super Bright camera mode. The LG G7 ThinQ also has a 8MP front camera with portrait mode.
Its AI CAM automatically detects the object that the user is taking and directly suggest the best filter and angle for the shot. Another feature is called the Super Bright Camera. It’ll help deliver bright photos even in extreme low-light situations.
Features
The LG G7 ThinQ is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It is fueled by a 3,000mAh battery supported by wireless charging and runs on Android Oreo.
It also comes with a feature called Boombox Speaker which lets the handset use the inner space as a resonance chamber to make it the music that the user’s listening is louder. Aside from that, the Google Lens lets the users learn more about certain products or objects and identify the product and how much they cost.
There’s also a feature called the Far-Field Voice Recognition that has the capacity hear the users’ voice even if the user is a bit far from the handset.
Price and Availability
The LG G7 ThinQ will be available in two color variants Aurora Black and Moroccan Blue. It carries the price tag of PHP 42,990. Those who pre-ordered this device will receive PHP 10,000 worth of freebies.
