A few days ago, Meizu teased a promotional poster suggesting that they will be releasing their first 18:9 aspect ratio smartphone on January 4. However, it was confirmed by the company that it will be postponed and the launch will happen on January 17 instead.

The promotional poster they recently released didn’t really reveal any specifications but some believe that it will come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and instead of a physical button, it will have a virtual key instead.
Rumors have it that the new Meizu smartphone will be powered by Exynos 7872 chipset that includes a hexa-core processor. TENNA’s listing also revealed it will feature a 5.7-inch display and is speculated to arrive in two variants such as 32 GB of storage + 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage + 4 GB of RAM. It is also packed with a 2,930mAh battery.
In the camera department, it will be equipped with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera.
