Microsoft has been aiming to bring innovation in the health industry, with its fitness smartwatch mechanism known as Microsoft Band and just recently, they introduced the newly acclaimed successor to the health device, dubbed the Microsoft Band 2. The Microsoft Band 2 pretty much has the same features and sensors to its predecessors, with only a few new add ons, which is actually enough, to say the least. The Microsoft Band 2 features a few usable features such as a calorie tracking feature, a sleep tracking feature and even a built-in GPS system that gives you customizable notification alerts regarding your daily fitness routines and watnot.
Microsofts stays true to their path towards a healthier life with the Microsoft Band 2’s officiality, though, being a fitness device, the Microsoft Band 2 promises to deliver smartness, in which smartwatches are associated to. The Microsoft Band 2 is expected to be available for preorder on October 30 for $249 or roughly Php 11,500, though a global launch is yet to be announced by them, specifically a South East Asian launch.
