What’s in store for smartphones in 2019?

It’s out with the old and in with the new.. again. As 2019 is approaching within the next months, users are also anticipating the latest features that can be available next year. Among such features is 5G connectivity, in screen display fingerprint, SD855, Android 9.0 Pie and much more.

Since 5G connectivity was first introduced in the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, 5G connectivity and Snapdragon 855 is expected to be made available world wide next year. It’s pretty obvious then that the Huawei Mate 30 and P30, LG V50Galaxy S10/X, Samsung Galaxy Note 10, and iPhone X (2019) and other flagship smartphones will have it equipped along with new AI features.

That said, below are some of the smartphones we listed that are being awaited by many users for the year 2019. Do note that the smartphone below are just leaks/rumors except for the Samsung Galaxy A8s:

Xiaomi Black Shark Helo 2 – After the ASUS ROG Phone topped the Antutu benchmark with the Black Shark Helo coming in second, the Black Shark Helo 2 is expected to beat ASUS’ gaming smartphone.

OnePlus 7/7T – With the OnePlus 6T coming in a few days and with the same processor as Snapdragon 845, the OnePlus 7 is widely expected to feature the Snapdragon 855 or 8150 with 5G connectivity.

Samsung Galaxy Foldable – Samsung is looking to beat all brands with their upcoming foldable Android phone. This niche will be the first as Chinese manufacturers are not able to launch any foldable phone until today.

Samsung Galaxy A8S – Amid the bezel-less trend and Oppo Find X launching with no bezel, Samsung takes a new approach to the no notch design. Confirmed to launch in January is the Galaxy A8s with a hole in its screen designed to place its selfie camera for a total no notch, no bulge, and no bezel effect.

Other smartphones expected to sport these features are Vivo V12/V12 ProOPPO F10, Lenovo Z6, Sony Xperia XZ4, and Xiaomi Pocophone f2.
