After various leaks and speculations, HMD Global has announced the Nokia X6 in China. With just a few hours before its launch, leaked images were spotted online. The launch has confirmed most of the information that were revealed regarding the device.

The Nokia X6 features a 5.8″ Full-HD+ notched display with a screen resolution of 2280 × 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. In addition, the smartphone is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device is also powered by the Snapdragon 636. It also came in two RAM variants. The 4GB RAM variant contains an internal storage of 32/64GB while the 6GB RAM comes with 64GB internal storage. The Nokia X6 is also fueled by a 3,060mAh battery supported by Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
Its camera setup sports dual cameras with 16MP RGB primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture + 5MP secondary monochrome sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The company also included AI features to the phone’s rear cameras for optimized color, field and portrait lighting effects, as well as face recognition. It supports the Bothie feature as well allowing the user to use both main and selfie camera together at the same time. The Nokia X6 houses a 16MP front camera with intelligent 3D blur and beauty filters.
Additional features of the smartphones includes Face Unlock as well as a “Do not Disturb” mode for gamers. The Nokia X6 is available in the colors – Black, Blue, and Silver.
Its price depends on its variants. The 4GB RAM + 32GB storage is priced at 1,299 Yuan (approx. Php 10,644) while the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage retails at 1,499 Yuan (approx. Php 12,283). On the other hand, the 6GB RAM + 64GB will be available for 1,699 Yuan (approx. Php 13,922). There are still no information if the device will be available to other countries aside from China.
