“The most powerful PC GPU ever created” is how Nvida described the Titan V as they announced the $2999 graphics card based on Volta. It’s a graphics card that is designed entirely with compute performance for people working on 3D rendering, AI, deep learning, and other intensive applications.

Nvidia also stated that it has up to 110 teraflops of performance from its 21.1 billion transistors, with 12GB of HBM2 memory, 5120 CUDA cores, and 640 “tensor cores. The card looks nearly identical to the previous Titan XP. It has the similar copper heartsink with vapor chamber design, and on the back are one HDMI and three DisplayPorts.

“Our vision for Volta was to push the outer limits of high-performance computing and AI. We broke new ground with its new processor architecture, instructions, numerical formats, memory architecture and processor links,” Jensen Huang, Nvidia founder and CEO. “With Titan V, we are putting Volta into the hands of researchers and scientists all over the world. I can’t wait to see their breakthrough discoveries.”

The Titan V is available for grabs starting today for $2,999 and is limited only to two per costumer.
