Only half a year after the release of the OnePlus 5, the company introduced the bigger variant, the OnePlus 5T. Now, before we give you the full review of the 5T, you might be wondering what’s inside the white-red box. So, Manila Shaker is here to help you with that.
What’s inside the box?
The huge white-red colored box has a number “5” at the center and the “OnePlus 5T” written on the side of the box. When you open it, the first thing that you will see is the 6.1-inch smartphone. Next is a packet containing user guides, sim ejector pin, and a case. Then, the USB adapter and the charging cable.
The design of the OnePlus 5T is quite similar to the OnePlus 5’s. However, the 5T looks more modern than the 5’s classic design, It’s actually just as thin as the other one but a bit taller for the larger 18:9 6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display at the front.
The fingerprint scanner is now located at the back of the phone, which is more convenient for most people. It still runs on the latest and fastest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, which you’ll find in most current Android flagship smartphones. Also, OnePlus 5T is facial recognition enabled.
The camera bump at the back has been redesigned to be sleeker. Also, the cameras have been upgraded, from the 16MP in the OnePlus 5 to the 20MP in the 5T. The good news about this smartphone, it still has a headphone jack! Yes, no need for dongles. OnePlus 5T is actually one of the few smartphones that still comes with a headphone jack.
