A list of smartphones with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 coming in 2018 was leaked in 2016, and OnePlus 6 was spotted also revealing that it would be launched in June 2018. Now, CEO Pete Lau confirmed both in an interview with CNET.
The said handset is scheduled to launch late in the second quarter of the year, which is June 30. However, the CEO has not revealed the name of the device but it’ll likely be called as the OnePlus 6.
In addition, CEO Lau isn’t sure if they will also launch a larger variant of the smartphone (OnePlus 6T), but it may happen considering what happened for the last 2 years.
“If the right opportunity and right timing come along, we’ll be very happy to experiment,” Lau said on the partnership with US carriers for the sales of its smartphones.
