Recently, it was discovered that there is a bootloader vulnerability on OnePlus’ flagship phone, OnePlus 6. And now, OnePlus responded and quickly updated to fix the problem.
- OnePlus 6 now has Portrait mode for its front camera due to an update
- OnePlus 6 Review – Is it really the speed you need?
The update came as OxygenOS 5.1.7 which also includes fixes aside from the major problem and also improvements into the device.
However, this update was paused after the reports with the stability right after the update from the users in India. In response to this, OnePlus said that it won’t be officially available in India.
“The 5.1.7 update will not be released for India region, as we are still working on a fix based on the logs we have received from users who have reported these issues”
So instead of 5.1.7 update, they will be getting the 5.1.8 which is set to arrive next week. It will include fixes with stability and other features included in the 5.1.7 update.
