The OnePlus 6 features a 6.28″ Full Optic Full HD+ display which is larger than the Black Shark’s 5.99″ IPS LCD display. Furthermore, the OnePlus 6 also has a higher resolution than Xiaomi’s smartphone. In terms of protection, the OnePlus 6 offers a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 as well as the Black Shark gaming phone.
Under the hood, the two share a lot of similarities. Both seem to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 845 along with an Adreno 630 GPU. Their difference lies in storage variants. The OnePlus 6 offers a variant with an internal storage of 256GB whereas the Black Shark gaming phone’s highest variant has a 128GB internal storage. Both are equal in terms of RAM.
In terms of their camera setup, both devices seem to have dual rear cameras. The OnePlus 6 comes with 20 MP + 16 MP rear camera while the Black Shark arrived with a 12MP + 20MP main camera. Looking at the specs itself shows that the OnePlus 6 has a better rear camera. Meanwhile, the Black Shark sports a 20MP selfie snapper whereas the OnePlus 6 features a 16MP front camera.
For security, both have a fingerprint scanner. The scanner is located at the rear part of the OnePlus 6 smartphone. As for the Black Shark, the scanner also serves as the home button and is positioned at the front of the phone. The OnePlus 6 is the only one from the two that has a Face Unlock feature.
The Black Shark seems to have lost in various areas but it definitely wins in the battery department. The mentioned device is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery supported by Quick Charge 3.0. The OnePlus 6 contains a smaller battery of 3,300mAh but is supported by Fast battery charging (5V 4A 20W).
