After numerous leaks and teasers, the OPPO F9 has finally launched in the Philippines. The event was held in Shangri-La at the Fort, Manila. The OPPO F9 is the company’s latest midrange smartphone. One of its main highlights is its VOOC flash charge technology that was said to provide two hours of talk time with just a 5-minute charge.
The smartphone has a Gradient color design with a Flower Petal Pattern at the back. As for the front, OPPO made use of the waterdrop screen. It also has a tiny notch and bezels which has been reduced to 1.7mm in order to maximize screen space.
The OPPO F9 features a 6.3″ FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. In addition, it is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The device is powered by the Helio P60 along with a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU and an octa-core processor clocked up to 2.0 GHz. It arrived with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card.
