ZTE launched the foldable smartphone Axon M last year, and Samsung is also working on Galaxy X, which reportedly is a foldable smartphone. Now, the Selfie Expert OPPO might join the trend as well.
A new leak surfaced online shows that OPPO patented a foldable smartphone design, it has an outward hinge that, once unfolded, will act as a part of the screen.
The patent shows sketches of the phone with a single flexible design. As you can see in the photo attached, when the phone is stretched out, you get a single large display. Which is much better than what ZTE did to Axon M, where there’s a thick black line on the center when it uses the two-screens or the “Extended Mode”.
