OPPO, via Twitter, confirmed that Reno 2 Series will be coming first to India on August 28. As seen on the poster, the Chinese company will be bringing four cameras to boot along with 20x Zoom feature.
OPPO Reno 2 Series To Be Released in India
It feels like it was just yesterday when OPPO launched the Reno 10x Zoom in the country. It’s not even half a year old, and its successor is already on the way.
Aside from the fullscreen display, the shark-fin pop-up selfie camera looks to be returning as well. We might be getting better night photography out of the Reno 2 Series, given the vibe of the poster. And in case you haven’t noticed yet, those two sensors look huge.

Breaking down the quad-cam setup, we might see the original setup of Reno 10x Zoom’s cameras, an ultrawide, periscope, and high MP main sensor. With 20x zoom, we’re assuming it will provide 10x optical zoom and 20x hybrid zoom. As for the 4th sensor, there’s a chance that it will be a super macro or ToF sensor.
Everything remains speculation for now until we reach the official release date. However, we won’t be surprised if leaks come out before the day.
