OPPO recently partnered with MCU to out its Marvel’s Avengers Endgame-themed F11 phone. Reno, its sub-brand, is about to do the same thing but in partnership with Gundam franchise. Thanks to a well-known industry tipster, we have a (un)official first look of the upcoming Reno Gundam Edition phone.
Oppo Reno Gundam Edition Could Be the First Phone with Centered Pinhole Camera
The tweet from @UniverseIce didn’t reveal any spec sheet except for the number of cameras and design. Starting with the latter, the back has Gundam print all over but in a gray shade. We’re still unsure whether or not it’s an edited monochrome photo, but initial impressions point to the fact. As for the camera, there’s a vertically aligned dual camera setup.

Up front, however, reveals an edge-to-edge display. But what’s interesting is the pinhole camera. Unlike most phones with selfie cutouts, the OPPO Reno Gundam Edition has it right in the middle. And with no capacitive fingerprint scanner in sight, it’s expected to be an under-screen type.
There’s no word yet when it’ll be released, but would you be interested in getting a Gundam-themed Reno phone?
