There’s been a lot of rumors swirling around the internet, whether or not Oppo Reno is like the Pocophone F1 of last year or a premium mid-range phone of 2019. But if we get to choose which, we’d go with the latter. So far, leaks are pointing to mid-range specs such as a dual main camera with a weird shark fin selfie camera.

Oppo’s Reno Phone has a unique-looking rising camera
Previously rumored to get a triple camera setup featuring the 10x periscope camera, like the one featured from Oppo’s showcase event, official-looking renders reveal dual camera on the back instead. Furthermore, TENAA listing and live hands-on with the Reno phone share the same looks with the aforementioned renders. We even have a weird yet surprising mechanical shark fin-style selfie camera; like a samurai slashed the Oppo Find X’s motorized camera.
Premium features, mid-range specs
Going back to the Reno’s TENAA listing, it confirmed some of the key specs. The Reno (or Reno Lite) will feature a notch-less and hole-less 6.4-inch AMOLED display, up to 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage, and Snapdragon 710. Its rising camera is set to have a 16MP selfie lens while the dual camera should see a 48MP + 5MP depth sensing combination.
Oppo’s Reno phone is already expected to go official in China on April 10. For colors, it’s going to come in Purple, Black, Green, and Pink.
Whether this is going to be called the Reno Lite, Reno, or just one of the series, it’s always a good thing to have more options for consumers.
