With the official Pokemon Go app launching in the Philippines, some players with Asus Zenfone 2 variants like Laser and up to Asus Zenfone 3 cannot play the said game due to incompatibility issues.
The cause of the Pokemon Go being not playable to these devices is still unknown. This is maybe due to software and/or hardware issue. But this is weird since Niantic has already updated Asus Zenfone 2 with Intel chipsets to be compatible with the Pokemon Go Game.
We’re also surprised as we have two Zenfone 3 models in our office with both cannot install the game.
The only solution to this is for Niantic, the developer to release an updated version of the game in the Android Play Store.

Then click the location again>mode> high accuracy gps
Make sure your wifi and.mobile data are both turned on.

Hi. I believe it’s playable and compatible if through apk installation BUT not searchable/applicable through PlayStore.
we’re using zenfone 2 laser (both 2gb/16gb and 3gb/32gb), we can play the game without any incompatibility issues, also it is upgraded to Marshmallow

funny things, I have Zenfone 4 and 5, it can perfectly installed from Play Store on Zenfone 4 but not playable (much lag), while in Zenfone 5 on Play Store it says not compatible, but still I do using apk instead, and it work like a charm.
p.s: both using latest firmware

Actually, the game does not compatible with asus zen c. But when I’m installed the game from third party source. The game suddenly worked.. Weird huh???
