Faster gaming Razer Phone 2 officially launched, but not coming to Asia and the Philippines
As Razer updates it gaming smartphone, the Razer Phone 2, the availability remains the same with a US-only launch–at least for the moment.
So what’s new with the Razer Phone 2? The gaming-centric company upgrades the display quality, it retains the 120Hz refresh rate but boosts the brightness. It has also an HDR and DCI-P3 wide color gamut output and measure at 5.7-inch 16:9 ratio.
Razer adds Vapor Chamber cooling system inside and paired the Snapdragon 845 that supports overclocking of specific games thru their Cortex App. The RAM is 8GB while storage is a fast 64GB UFS.
A dual camera setup on the back promises improve shooting capability, thanks to the 12MP dual pixel Sony sensor accompanied by a 12MP telephone. At the front is an 8MP fixed focus selfie snapper.
Outside is quite a noticeable change with the Chroma logo at the glass back. Speaking of glass, the Razer Phone 2 features wireless charging aside from the Quick Charge 4.0+ with a rated 4000mAh battery.
