  1. sir, whats the difference between an AMOLED screen and a TFT LCD? i dont make a habit of playing games on my phone..usually iBooks , pdf files, social media, photos (not too much on selfie),and spotify and of course the text and call function lang ang habol ko sa phones.

    • AMOLED uses organic LED as the panel. If you are familiar with LED, it consumes less energy and comes in a compact form compared the multilayer of LCD. It’s really hard to discuss both without starting at the very beginning and the basics of these two techs.

Overview: AMOLED consumes less energy than LCD because of it turns off BLACK pixels while LCD combines colors to make a black one.

AMOLED has also more saturated (deeper colors but far from accurate colors) and gets brighter in most devices equipped with than with LCD.

LCD has accurate color rendering and has great viewing angles too similar to top class AMOLEDs.

If you really want a pop up display, then go for the AMOLED, SAMSUNG and other brands are already replacing LCDs with AMOLEDs.

  2. Purchased one last Monday (December 12, 2016) at around 3PM. Charged the phone of four hours. Setup the phone and test, it’s great. At around 10PM (at work) my phone shutdown on its own for no reason and the power button is not responding. Removing and re-inserting the battery resolve the issue for a while. The power button works and turn on my phone. After a few minutes maybe 10 the phone shutdown again. I tried the following but the issue still persist. Turn on the phone with and without the sim card (each slot), Turn on the phone with and without my SD card. Factory reset. All the same results. I contacted the point of purchase and was advise to contact service center first. Please advise.
