The new kid from the Samsung J-series has recently been introduced, in the form of the Samsung Galaxy J2. The Galaxy J2 is the fourth, in Samsung’s J-series and is primarily focused in the indian market, as promised by the Korean powerhouse company, which could be the result of the rapid emergence of india’s smartphone market.
The J2 has an upgraded 4.7-inch TFT, Super AMOLED display, an Exynos 3475 chip, with quadcore, as well as a 1GB RAM capacity. The Galaxy J2 also sports an entry-level camera set-up, with its 5MP, f/2.2 rear shooter and 2MP, f/2.4 selfie shooter, with the latter also possessing a 2000mAh battery and a very recent Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The Galaxy J2 is capable of dual-SIM support and has a new feature called ultra data saving mode.
The feature enables a 50% savings on your data plan, which is free of the 11% capacity of the RAM and also increases the standby time of the device up to two times its original time. This is quite of a “jump” from the J1 and will surely set some incredible standards for future J-line devices to surpass.
The Galaxy J2 is expected to be priced at 8,490 INR or at around Php 5-6K. What do you think of Samsung’s new J-line entry? Comment your feedback and suggestion on the comment’s section below.
