On the other hand the Galaxy J3 (2018) has a 5.0″ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 and 16:9 aspect ratio. It seems that the Galaxy J6 has a better resolution as well.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) is powered by the Exynos 7570 chip along with a Mali-T720 GPU. Meanwhile, the Galaxy J6 has higher specs with Exynos 7870 and a GPU of Mali-T830 MP1. In terms of storage, the Galaxy J6 has a total of two variants, all with a larger capacity than the Galaxy J3 (2018), It contains 3GB of RAM and an internal storage of 36GB as well as 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. As for the Galaxy J3 (2018), it only sports 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Both smartphones run on the same operating system, Android 8.0 Oreo.
For the camera department, both phones feature a single rear camera. The Galaxy J3 (2018) features an 8MP main camera and a 5MP front camera. As for the Galaxy J6, it sports a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie snapper with an LED flash.
In terms of their battery, the Galaxy J3 (2018) has a removable one. It is also fueled by a 2600mAh battery. As for the Galaxy J6, it has a larger battery capacity of 3000mAh. Both differs in terms of security as well. The Galaxy J6 is the only one in the two that features a fingerprint scanner and facial recognition.
