The Samsung Galaxy J8 was launched last month and is scheduled to be released on the following month. However, speculations state that the smartphone will be released in India on June 20. Today, a device with the model number SM-J810Y/DS, believed to be the Galaxy J8 was spotted in Taiwan’s National Communications Commission (NCC). This suggests that the smartphone might be released in Taiwan soon.

Along with the listing, some live images of the Galaxy J8 was shown. The photos include the smartphone with a ruler on its sides which gives people an idea on its dimensions. Furthermore, an image showing the bottom part of the phone as well as all sides was shown. For the final photo, the charging adapter, cable, and earphones were included.
The Galaxy J8 will feature a 6″ S-AMOLED Infinity Display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 and a resolution of 720 x 1480. The phone seems to have a polycarbonate body with its vertically aligned dual rear cameras and fingerprint sensor positioned at the back. As for the bottom part, it houses a 3.5mm audio jack and a microUSB 2.0 port. The power button, SIM slot, and volume rockers can still be found at the sides of the phone.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 450 along with 4GB of RAM and an internal storage of 64GB which is expandable via a microSD card. It is fueled by a 3000mAh battery and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. As for its camera setup, it sports a dual 16MP + 5MP rear camera and a 24MP front camera.
The Samsung Galaxy J8 is expected to arrive in India in the colors – Black, Gold, and Blue, at the price of Rs. 18,990 (approx. PHP 14,958).
