The Gear360 is a lightweight and compact IP53 rated 360-degree-capable camera recorder that adds to the expanding VR ecosystem.

Samsung’s latest Gear360 makes use of an 8.4MP sensor set at f/2.2 aperture on both dual fisheye lenses while capturing 4K video resolution. A first for Samsung.

The 360 Social Live Broadcasting feature seamlessly broadcast or upload the video to Facebook, Youtube or Samsung VR.

Customers won’t have to worry about compatibility issues as it works with other Android and iPhone devices, as well as Windows and Mac computers.

Lastly, it carries 1160mAh battery which can be charged via the USB Type-C.

The Gear 360 will set you back for Php11,990.

Samsung Dex

Samsung Dex serves as a desktop on-the-go, based on Android OS. It gives a similar desktop experience from the multiple resizable windows, contextual menus, and a desktop version web browser.

Of course, this won’t be complete without the mouse and keyboard that can be connected through Bluetooth or wire onto the Dex Dock/Station. An HMDi-compatible monitor completes the desktop experience.

Dex focuses more on productivity where they partnered with Adobe and Microsoft to support Microsoft Office and Adobe mobile apps, including Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile and Lightroom Mobile.

If that’s not enough, Windows OS-based applications can be remotely and securely access virtual desktops through partner solutions including Citrix, VMware and Amazon Web Services.

The Dex station includes two USB 2.0, Ethernet, USB type-C power-in and a cooling fan. It also features Adaptive Fast Charging for the Galaxy S8, once docked.

Samsung mentioned that region-specific bundles the Dex with the Galaxy S8 while some need to buy it separately.

Samsung Dex will retail locally for Php7,999.
