Samsung Philippines is preparing to launch the Gear S2 smartwatch in the Philippines, officially. At the moment, you can get the Gear S2 from online which costs around $300 or P13,800. Likely, Philippines official price or SRP will sit between P14-16k pesos (our guestimate) inclusive with VAT.
For starters, the Gear S2 is the second generation smartwatch from the Korean giant company. The Gear S2 sports a waterproof design, rounded AMOLED display with a dual core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, and sadly, no camera unlike on the first generation Gear.
We will know soon if Samsung will both release the Gear S2 and Gear S2 classic locally. Meanwhile you can check out the full specs, features and price below. We will review the Gear S2 once we receive or acquire one.
