The Xperia M5 has oleophobic coated glass back, which gives the latter its sophisticated glossy feel and look. However, in terms of back cover design, the OnePlus 2 can par up with the Xperia M5, with its Sandstone black back cover, which also delivers a removable back cover feature. This delivers a variety-like feel for its user, which can be considered a good thing for those who like variety.

Both devices possesses a polycarbonated frame, which only differentiates in design. The Xperia M5 has full physical control buttons and is significantly lighter and thinner than the OnePlus 2, with the latter carrying a 7.6mm dimension measurement and is weighted in 142.6g, while the OnePlus 2 is at 9.9mm dimension and 175g weight.

In the boot up test conducted on both device, it was seen that Xperia M5 showcased a more faster and efficient loading/booting time, in comparison to the OnePlus 2. The reason for, this is that the Xperia M5’s system might be more effective on the device, in comparison to the OnePlus 2’s chipset.
