Sony Xperia XZ3 with 6GB RAM will be released in Taiwan

Sony announced their latest addition to XZ series a few days ago at IFA 2018. Now, the Sony Xperia XZ3 has appeared on the official page on the Taiwanese website revealing a new variant with 6GB of RAM.

Globally, the Xperia XZ3 was introduced in 4GB of RAM variant and it’s not confirmed if the 6GB of RAM variant will also be released outside Taiwan.

The Sony Xperia XZ3 sports a new Sony OLED display. It has a 6.0″ screen with  2880×1440 resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It measures 158 x 73 x 9.9 mm and only weighs 193 grams.

In the camera department, it carries the same main rear 19MP Sony sensor with 1.22µm pixel pitches and f/2.0 aperture lens. It also has a 13MP (f/2.2) front snapper for taking selfies.

Going to its internals, it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of UFS2.1 storage. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and has a battery pack of 3330 mAh. Also, it supports fast charging (Adaptive Fast Charge, USB-PD),
and wireless charging (WPC & PMA), For security, it has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The new Sony Xperia XZ3 is also IP65-IP68 water resistant.

The Sony Xperia XZ3 will go on sale this coming October with the price tag USD $899 or £699.
