We recently did an article about the possible alternatives to the costly Starmobile Knight Spectra, though, we can’t hide the fact that the Spectra isn’t all that bad, just because its a bit more money waging than some of the local brands in the market. We at Manila Shakers like to look at things, realistically and despite seeing the Starmobile Knight Spectra as a bit costly, we also see a few good things about it. In regards to that, we listed down five reasons why you should purchase your very own Starmobile Knight Spectra.

The Dual-camera sensor feature

This feature alone is something to look at, on the Spectra, the two rear shooters that primarily focuses on dishing out the most efficient and excellent outputs is always a pretty good trait to have, on a smartphone. The 13MP main shooter, combined with the 2MP secondary background shooter are a good combination, which is actually reminiscent of HTC’s One M8’s dual-camera features, which gives its user control of the depthness and accuracy of the background through the use of the secondary shooter, primarily giving it a more personalized touch and a more optical-wise approach. Truly a breakthrough on the local market, the Spectra is something to truly be recognized by its greatness in shooting.

A pretty decent 3500mAh battery capacity

Well, we might be giving the Spectra a bit of air here. The 3500mAh battery capacity might not be something to be amazed about, however, that number alone is pretty decent overall. Despite not having the device in hand, we can concur that it should dish out a very satisfying battery life for the device, which one could learn to appreciate despite the pricing of the Spectra. Overall, the 3500mAh battery capacity won’t be enough to convince a few people to get the Spectra, however, it is huge factor to look out, when deciding on purchasing a specific phone that is focused on battery longevity.

A great 32GB internal storage capacity and 3GB of RAM

The Spectra has a 32GB internal storage capacity, which is actually a pretty huge thing. The 32GB internal storage of the Knight Spectra might play a huge factor in thinking of reasons why to buy one and adding to this decent amount of internal storage capacity is its 3GB of RAM, which should really do the phone some justice, in terms of processing and running power.

The Quick Charge 2.0 feature, thanks to Snapdragon 615

You’re probably saying that, “why is this a reason? isn’t there a new QC 3.0 version already”. Yes there is, however, the QC 2.0 isn’t necessarily a throw away version of the QC feature, since QC 3.0 is active, no sir. The QC 2.0 feature does its job good and is expected to do its job, even on the Spectra. We might see people complain about the charging capability of the Spectra, however, we can safely say that the Spectra is in good hands, with the QC 2.0 and Snapdragon 615 in charge.

A huge contender for the Marshmallow update

We actually have a fingers crossed on this one. The Spectra looks like a very promising device that can handle a pretty up-to-date system and despite, local brands going about updates a bit late, we hope to see the Spectra take the Marshmallow update sooner or later, because we felt  that the Spectra has all the stops to be very capable, once it gets the Marshmallow update and hopefully, and honestly we’re there to say that day come.

Conclusion

The Knight Spectra overall might be a bit overpriced in our book and we can assure you that there might be bigger and more affordable options out there, however, we can’t count out the Knight Spectra, since it does hold a few unique and well-tested features and specs that should carry the device well in the market. Hopefully, we get to see more of the Knight Spectra in the future and Starmobile, please give it the marshmallow update ASAP! Please!
