Vivo recently launched its newest flagship smartphone, the Vivo NEX S alongside the Vivo NEX. The Vivo NEX and NEX S received a lot of hype for its unique camera setup. It sports a pop-up camera that would appear when launching the camera app.
The Huawei P20, on the other hand, is known for its amazing Leica cameras that works like a DSLR camera. The P20 series were launched on May but also received a lot of hype starting last year for its beast cameras.

The Vivo NEX S features a larger screen with 6.59″ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2316 pixels. Meanwhile, the Huawei P20 sports a 5.8-inch IPS LCD display, with a resolution of 1080 x 2240 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.7:9. Both smartphones feature a full-screen design although the Huawei P20 has the trendy notch that was popularized by Apple.
If you’re not a fan of this, you can ditch this by ticking the hide notch option. On the other hand, the Vivo NEX S has a notch-less display and has a pop-up selfie camera.
Under the hod, the Vivo NEX S receives power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 along with Adreno 630, paired with 8GB of RAM + 128GB/256GB of internal storage. Meanwhile, the Huawei P20 is powered by its own Hisilicon Kirin 970 with Mali-G72 MP12, coupled with 128 GB of native storage and 4 GB RAM.
Going to its cameras, the Vivo NEX S comes with a dual rear camera setup of 12 MP + 5 MP sensors with 4-axis OIS, phase detection autofocus, and dual-LED dual-tone flash. Going to the P20, it has a dual camera setup of 12 MP + 20 MP Leica optics with 2x lossless zoom, phase detection and laser autofocus.
Both runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. The Huawei smartphone with a 3400 mAh battery pack, while the Vivo with 4000 mAh battery.
