Vivo V5 Plus goes official
After the successful launch of the Vivo V5 in India, the company is releasing this time the bigger sibling. Meet Vivo V5 Plus – a selfie-centric smartphone with a 20MP+8MP dual front camera.

As if 20MP wasn’t enough for the V5, the V5 Plus is upping its selfie game claiming the title of the ‘perfect selfie’.
Breaking down its dual camera, the 20MP f/2.0 uses a Sony’s IMX376 sensor while the 8MP f/2.0 is added for depth of field – it’s pretty interesting to see how that bokeh effect will come out.
The rear camera is also not to be underestimated as it uses a 16MP f/2.0 with LED flash and can record up to 4K video resolution.

Aside from the impressive camera, the Vivo V5 Plus is being powered by Snapdragon 625 SoC 2.0Ghz octa-core CPU, Adreno 506 GPU paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The device supports microSD card for up to 256GB.
A 5.5-inch 1080p FHD display with 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 5 employs the V5 Plus with an all-metal design that comes in Gold color only.
A decent 3160mAh battery will be powering the V5 Plus while the software side runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow coated with FunTouch OS 3.0.
The Vivo V5 Plus will start to launch in India then will spread to Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Myanmar.
