Vivo launched the Vivo V9 this March in India. At that time, the device was only available in two color variants – Pearl Black and Champagne Gold. Today, it was announced that the Vivo V9 Sapphire Blue color variant has finally arrived in India as well.

The Vivo V9 features a 6.3″ Full HD+ IPS LCD FullView notched display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 626 along with 4GB of RAM and an internal storage of 64GB. The phone’s storage can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
The device’s camera setup includes a dual 16MP + 5MP rear cameras and a 24MP front camera. Vivo V9’s camera features an AI-based Face Beautify app, AR Stickers, ‘Portrait’ lighting effect and Bokeh depth-of-field effect.
In terms of security, aside from sporting a fingerprint scanner, the smartphone also has Face Unlock. The Vivo V9 is fueled by a 3,260mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Vivo V9 Sapphire Blue variant is already available in Indian offline stores and will be available online on May 21 through the Vivo E-store in Amazon India. According to the report, the Vivo V9 Sapphire Blue will have the same price as its other variants. This means that it is priced at Rs. 22,990 in India and will be priced at Php 17,990 if it arrives here in the Philippines.
