Upcoming Xiaomi Flagship Phone Might Come with 16GB RAM
Android phones are known to be RAM-hungry compared to their iOS competition. 6GB proves to be sufficient in 2020, while 8GB gives a bit of headroom for the next two years. 12GB, on the other end, are reserved for top models for people who just want to flex. But when you can have 16GB RAM on a phone, the term “overkill” seems fitting. According to a leaked screenshot of the alleged Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro, the specs include 6.4″ FHD+ display, Snapdragon 865, 108MP quad cameras, 512GB internal storage, 5250mAh battery, and a whopping 16GB RAM. Reports state that this may be the highest-end model of the device.
Judging by the spec sheet, Mi 10 Pro is a jam-packed flagship phone. Adding the info coming from an earlier leak, the set of features includes 65W fast charging brick, 5G capability, dual speakers, and Hi-Fi res audio support via USB-C. The price of Mi 10 Pro is also said to start at CNY 3799 or ~P27,800 (12GB/128GB). There’s no word yet regarding the exact release date, but we should know more once we enter the month of February.
