Just a few days ago, a teaser of the new Xiaomi smartphone surfaced online and it confirmed that it will be the Xiaomi Mi 6X. Now, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer released a new teaser on its official Weibo account – showing off the Matte Blue color variant.

The teaser confirms that both rear and front cameras will be featuring a 20MP sensor. According to recent reports, the front camera will be a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor, on the other hand, the rear camera will feature a 12-megapixel Sony IMX486 sensor and a 20-megapixel Sony 376 sensor. Also, the rear cameras will feature AI capabilities.
According to the TENAA listing, the Xiaomi Mi 6X will feature a 5.99″ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080. Its dimensions measure 158.88 × 75.54 × 7.3 mm. The upcoming smartphone will also contain 4GB or 6GB of RAM with 64GB and 128GB of storage respectively. The handset will run on Android 8.1 and will have a 2910mAh battery.
The promotional teaser also revealed its new ambassador, which is Kris Wu. The Xiaomi Mi 6X will be unveiled in an event at Wuhan University in China on April 25. The Xiaomi Mi 6X is the successor of the Xiaomi Mi 5X that was released last year in July.
