Last month, Xiaomi released a lineup of smartphones namely the Xiaomi Mi 8, Xiaomi Mi 8 SE and the Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition. While there’s no official announcement on making these phones available globally, turns out it’s already on sale outside China.

On Xiaomi’s forum, a Super Moderator stated that Xiaomi Mi 8 been released already in a few countries like Russia and France.
However, when they looked at international Xiaomi stores, they didn’t found the Mi 8’s presence which indicates that it might be available at local retailers.
Going back with Mi 8’s specifications it houses a 6.21-inch FHD+ S-AMOLED display with 2248 x 1080 resolution. It offers a screen-to-body ratio of 88.5 percent. As mentioned, this smartphone receives power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. It comes in three models – 6GB RAM with 64GB or 128GB or 256GB internal storage.
Going to the camera department, it comes with 12MP + 12MP AI dual rear camera with dual-pixel AF, 4-axis OIS, and AI scene detection. The secondary camera as the telephoto sensor. The primary camera is an IMX363 by Sony, while the secondary is S5K3M3 from Samsung. For taking selfies, it comes with a 20MP AI front snapper.
