In a short video posted on Sina yesterday, it shows that a user is unlocking a smartphone with his fingerprint that was speculated to be Xiaomi Mi 8’s. As what you can see when the phone was unlocked, the icons of the apps are similar to the icons form the phone maker’s custom MIUI Android skin.
Still, we’re expecting Xiaomi’s unveiling of the new smartphone along with Mi Band 3 debut that wasn’t on May 23. So the well-known tipsters in China aren’t right on their guess this time. But on previous reports, the Mi 7 may debut on the first half of this year which means that launching is still close at hand. Despite these, we’re still waiting for more details and we’re eyeing on Mi 7’s that was spotted on Geekbench recently and is rumored to be powered by Snapdragon 845.
