Xiaomi is looking to launch a new breed of the Mi Band, dubbed the Mi Band 1S, which is expected to land sooner or later this November. Lets find out more about Xiaomi’s new take on a health-wise wrist device.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 1S is a very particular device, though it is very different from the usual smartwatch, which is mainly seen, since the device doesn’t have any display, however, its features and functions are quite reminiscent of a smartwatch and looks like, it can do its job. The Xiaomi Mi Band 1S has the usual heart rate sensing and sleep tracking capability, as well as calorie tracking capability and a pedometer, which measures the number of steps taken, which is highly useful for those who has an active lifestyle.

The latter also features a notification capability, which it can associate notifications and reminders through your phone by using a particular Xiaomi smartphone app, specifically built for the synching of a Xiaomi device and the Mi Band 1S. The Mi Band 1S has IP 67 certification, wherein it is capable of being submerged underwater for 30 minutes, which means, the device can also be useful in water-based activities, without worrying a few troublesome repercussions.
