Xiaomi is refreshing its Mi Notebook Pro laptop lineup, adding the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro Enhanced Edition. Its specs are headlined by the latest 10th-gen Intel Core i7 CPU with Nvidia GeForce MX250 GPU for a price of CNY 6999 or around P50K when directly converted. The Enhanced Edition will go on sale starting November 1 in China. There’s no word yet if it will ever arrive in the Philippines.
The Enhanced Edition has the same metal unibody that’s found on the original Mi Notebook Pro. Following Apple Macbook’s footsteps, the color finish is dark gray. The processor is now upgraded to either 10th-gen Core i5-10210U or Core i7-10510U. Apparently, both come with a dedicated Nvidia MX250 GPU. While you can pair that up with up to 16GB DDR4 dual-channel RAM, the storage now goes up to 1TB SSD.
Outside the spec sheet, there’s an upgraded cooling system featuring double heat pipe and fans and larger heat conduction area for rapid cooling. While the top model is already priced, the i5 model is yet to be determined. While there’s a myriad of ports, support for thunderbolt 3 seems to be missing.
