In the previous days, various leaks and speculations have already appeared regarding the Xiaomi Redmi S2. Today, a Xiaomi smartphone was spotted in TENAA with the model number, M1803E6E. Based on the specs, the phone is expected to be the upcoming Redmi S2.
The TENAA listing reveals that the Xiaomi Redmi S2 will feature a 5.99″ display with a resolution of 720 x 1440 and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device’s dimensions are 160.73 x 77.26 x 8.1mm and it weighs 170g. The smartphone is expected to arrive in different variants – 2GB/4GB/6GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage. The Redmi S2 will also be fueled by 3,000mAh battery and will run on Android 8.1 Oreo.
According to leaked information in the past, the Redmi S2 will be powered by the Snapdragon 625. The listing revealed that the upcoming device will contain a chipset that has a similar clock speed.
As for its camera setup, it will contain 12MP + 8MP dual rear cameras and a 16MP front camera.
The device is expected to be available in the colors – Black, Blue, Gold, Gray, Pink, Red, Rose Gold, Silver, and White. As of now, there are no official details on the launch and availability of the Xiaomi Redmi S2. However, rumors are spreading hinting that the device will be budget-friendly.
