Three Android Marshmallow phablets go head to head in our specs and price comparison. Which is a more compelling, better to buy smartphone between the ZTE Nubia Z11 Max, Xiaomi Mi Max, and Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro? Find out in our side-by-side full specs review of the trio.
Price advantage: Mi Max, Nubia Z11 Max win
The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro and its non-pro A9 version are more expensive than the group but feature Super AMOLED screen and curved glass body. On the other hand, the Mi Max and Nubia Z11 are priced the same with the latter having wider display but with only a hexacore processor compared to the former with octa-core.
Battery capacity: Galaxy A9 Pro wins
In terms of battery capacity, the Galaxy A9 Pro beats the two with its 5000mAh capacity and fast charging capability. Meanwhile, Mi Max is just close behind with a 4850mAh and reverse charging/external powerbank feature. In real life, though, the Mi Max has a slight longer battery life. We are yet to review the Nubia Z11 Max so we can’t actually put actual figures here.

Camera in video and selfie
All sport 16MP main sensor and 8MP front-facing but only the Galaxy A9 Pro has a wide aperture of f1.9 compared to 2.0 of the two up to the selfie camera. During our comparison, the Galaxy A9 beats the Mi Max, thanks to the brighter and more capable camera.

Hi Jade, so which one would you reco if its between Mi Max and ZTE Z11 Max? Tnx!
If you can get the ZTE Z11 then better. IF not Mi Max is still a reliable phablet.
