Technically, this sign is a bit broad, since it could mean smartphone addiction, or merely work addiction. When waking up from sleeping, smartphones aren’t necessarily the normal things that should be in your mind (not unless your using it as a clock and simply just looking at the time or you’ll be late for work, or something like that), since primarily breakfast should be top priority for mornings. Smartphone addiction can often be remarked as an excessive usage of that particular device, so using your smartphone as soon as you get up or while you’re hitting the hay is a huge sign that you should lay low a bit on the smartphone usage. Checking up your phone every time, for no reason whatsoever

This is a pretty common habit of a smartphone user, especially if you have a new device in hand, since as smartphone users, we usually wanted to try out its different features and offers, so we often wait for text messages to come and reply to them, or simply text random people on your contacts, such as long lost classmates, just to get used to the feel of the new phone.  Though, once the device gets a bit older and yet, you still do this particular habit, then we suggest to tune down on the smartphone use, since there might be a problem on your part. Its best to get rid of this habit as early as possible, because the longer you prolonged this habit, the harder it is to overcome. This is not actually a dangerous sign, since primarily you’ll just often check your smartphones, but when you’re in certain locations that require you not to show your phone, you might subconsciously get to your usual habit and get yourself in danger of being phonenapped. So its better yet to get rid of it, just to be safe.

Weird hallucinations that your smartphone might be vibrating, when its not

Personally, i haven’t heard of anyone i know to get to this point of extreme smartphone addiction, though it is said that this particular hallucinatory thing happens in reality. It is said that some smartphone users oftentimes feels or glimpses a feel of vibration from their device, which could either mean someones calling them, or theres an alarm that is needed to be turned off. But once checked by the users, there is no particular updates, messages and reminders on the device. Some users think these happenings has supernatural related things written over it, but things could be a little realistic. It seems that excessive use of smartphones has lead to this particular mindset and has created this illusions on the user’s mind, which is actually quite disturbing, since, knowing that smartphone addiction can even transcend to a few mental incapacities. Likewise, its better to just balance your smartphone habits as much as you can to prevent this from happening, if this is something that is true.

Doing everything, while using your smartphone

Smartphones are relatively amazing, since it gives the ability to multi-task, because of the utility it delivers, though it does not necessarily mean that we should always multi task with our smartphone. People who often do everything with their smartphone, such as eating with their smartphone, primarily to take selfies with their food, or even while in front of your computer, which is relatively weird, since some are doing their main things on their computer, while also in front of their smartphones. We can use our smartphones in various ways, but we shouldn’t use it when were doing a few particular things, since it might get as into a few worrisome situations. Smartphone addiction is primarily the cause of these multi task barrage and while this remains relatively harmless, it may blow a few consequential acts, such as misdirecting a particular thing or lost of focus for the other task, which can be harmful, when put in the right, or in this case, wrong time.

Messed up sleeping schedule for excessive smartphone use

This is a pretty common thing to smartphone addicts. Throwing in all nighters are pretty common, and i might say, i’m guilty of this particular sign. Smartphones are not only the most useful new age gadget that we have, but also one of the most entertaining. They’re many ways to entertain yourself with your smartphone, which oftentimes result into messed up sleeping schedules or even insomnia attacks. This is something that is really hard to get rid off, i’ve tried doing all i can, but the urge always kicks in every night, which eventually results in sleepless all nighters. So, if you’re primarily affected by this particular sign, then theres no doubt your a smartphone addict, although this is not a permanent thing. All you have to do is have the discipline and fight those surging urges, don’t worry, frequent tries of fighting the urges gets you closer and closer to ridding yourself with this habit.
