Google Pixel 2, XL leaked to have massive bezels but no 3.5mm headphone jack

In 2017, there were reports that Google will be launching a more affordable Pixel smartphone. Now, a new report from India claims that a midrange edition of the Google Pixel is coming this July or August.

According to The Economic Times, the company is working on a midrage Pixel phone for “price sensitive” markets, including India. Also, the publication claims that this is Google’s strategy for India, which includes bringing its Nest brand to the country, along with Google Wi-Fi and the Pixelbook.

Three months ago, a concept video was uploaded suggesting that Pixel 3 will be coming with an 18:9  full-screen design and super slim bezels.

The concept renders shows that the Pixel 3 will still continue to sport the dual-tone design on its back panel, similar to its predecessors. It can be seen that the color combinations play around white, black, blue, and red. The back portion of the phone looks like to be made of metal and the housing of the camera seems to be made out of glass.
