Huawei has officially launched the P20 series today in the Mall of Asia Atrium. During the launch, the company emphasized the smartphones’ camera capabilities. They stated that the P20 series is designed for professional photography.

The Huawei P20 features a 5.8″ FullView display with a resolution of 2240×1080 and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Hisilicon Kirin 970 and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. It has 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The P20 comes with an upgraded Leica Dual Camera with a 12MP RGB sensor with OIS, f/1.8 lens. The second snapper is a 20MP monochrome shooter behind f/1.6 lens. On top of that, it also features Huawei AIS, 4D predictive focus, and 5x Hybrid Zoom. The handset also features a 24MP front camera.
This new Huawei smartphone will be available in Black and Midnight Blue color variants.
The Huawei P20 Pro, on the other hand, comes in a 6.1″ OLED FullView display with 1080 x 2244 resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Similar with the P20, it is powered by the Hisilicon Kirin 970 chipset and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo along with 128 GB ROM and 6GB of RAM.
The highlight of this model is its Leica Triple Camera. The device’s camera setup includes a 40MP RGB sensor with f/1.8 lens, a 20MP monochrome with f/1.6, and an 8MP telephoto lens with f/2.4. Its front camera is also similar to the P20 Pro featuring 24MP lens.
The P20 Pro is the only one in the P20 series that will arrive in a Twilight color variant.
The Huawei P20 series is available starting today! The Huawei P20 Lite is priced at Php 15,990, while the Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro is priced at Php 34,990 and Php 44,990 respectively.
