LG G Pad II 10.1 Officially Launched: Quad Snapdragon 800 chip & 2GB RAM

LG strikes early.

Supposedly to be revealed at the IFA in Berlin, the new flagship for the G series cannot wait any longer as LG announced the LG G Pad ll 10.1 before its official unveiling two weeks from now.

The LG G pad ll 10.1 is surely bringing up some pretty genuine improvements in comparison to its past G series predecessors, namely the G Pad ll 8.0

Regarding chip power, the LG G pad 10.1 delivers. With the latter possessing a Snapdragon 800. The G pad ll 10.1 also gets a double up in RAM, which now has a 2GB RAM, while its internal storage retains its 16GB capacity, which is expandable via microSD.

Display wise, it retains much of its original display features, there is however a boost in terms of screen resolution, (WUXGA 1920×1200 pixels) which eventually leads to an acceptable 224 ppi density.

In terms of battery and energy length, LG shows great pride in their 7,400mAh battery that they said will keep everyone entertained for hours and hours. Although, the ample battery itself is a downgrade since its past predecessors had 8,000mAh.

The exterior shows a more sophisticated and serious look. Its measurements of 54.3 x 161.1 x 7.8mm showcases a thinner body dimension in par with its predecessor. Its also 34g lighter compared to its past predecessor.

The G pad ll 10.1 will have an OS of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop upon launch. It will also have a pre installed Microsoft office with a 100GB OneDrive capacity for 2 years upon purchase, which shall serve as a third storage option.

One thing though, LG has yet to announce the price of the G pad ll 10.1. It seems there still holding up a few tricks on their sleeves, which they can full on IFA. We’ll have to wait for their full unveiling on IFA to get more information regarding the LG G pad ll 10.1.
